The holidays aren’t just days of idleness and all-day movie marathons. These are also the days when busy people like us can finally drink beer all night (and wake up late the morning after) without feeling guilty and finally make use of the money we’ve earned to bond with our families and friends. It’s during the holidays when we can bring our families to the museum or probably a theme park, and stay there all-day without our boss calling our mobile phones minute after minute. In other words, the holidays are the days when going on a specific trip or journey for the purposes of recreation and tourism is “legal”.
But don’t get the idea that the holidays only happen during those times that the-roads-are-too-snowy-to-drive-at a.k.a Christmas. Remember, there are also other religious holidays and national holidays, so you’re not actually limited to go to museums and parks for some quality family and friends bonding.
If you want, you can also think of the weekends as “holidays”. Hey, you’re free during Saturdays and Sundays, right? And the odds will particularly be more favorable to you if those “official holidays” land during Mondays. Well, that’ll give you a long weekend and definitely a longer time to enjoy the beach, swim at the private resort or relax in the province.
And speaking of beaches and resorts, we particularly said that the holidays aren’t just days of home slouching, because you can use the time to explore the many (thousands, probably) holiday destinations in the United States. As to where is the “perfect” destination for your family for the nearest “holidays” is our business. We’re holidaydestinations.com.
