The best way to spend a family holiday is by going to a destination that’s not only fun but educational as well. And having this criterion in mind, we just can’t resist putting Disney land in here. Yes, Disney land. No matter how many times you already took your children there before, we still recommend taking your whole family in Walt Disney’s memorial, err, theme park for the next holiday. Well, Walt Disney may look like a very boring guy in his pictures, but his theme park’s not. There’s always something new in Disney land. Period.
Another family friendly destination is a resort. Well, technically, there aren’t supposed to be “profanities” and unfriendly-to-children scenes in a resort, so this option is definitely “family-friendly”. The downfall is, there isn’t anything educational about it. If you want a really educational vacation, go to a museum or an arts festival for a change. Now, these two places are definitely filled with new stuffs to learn.
If you don’t like the places we’ve suggested here, you just might as well bring your family to the cinema and watch a “family friendly” movie like, err, Race to Witch Mountain or those bunch of CGI movies from Dreamworks that more or less feature the same animals-talking-and-dancing theme.
