We have to admit that picking travel destinations can be hard work. But if you try to be more specific about the current “needs” and “wants” of your family for a vacation place, then you’ll realize that doing so can actually be fun and easy.
First. Do a survey. Ask your family (or friends) about the destination they would want to go to and evaluate each. For example, if your mother hopes to go to a place that’s “particularly” different from your home environment and your father wants to go to a place that’s “alive”, you can go to Las Vegas. Your advantage in going to Las Vegas is, rental resources aren’t at all limited and since it’s a very tourist-heavy place, you have large chances of acing a good and discounted vacation deal.
Okay, now what about during summer? Don’t expect that we’re still going to suggest the idea of going to a beach here. We’re not. But well, if all the people you’re planning to take want to go to the beach, we’re not trying to wreck the plan. Your choices aren’t our business, anyway. What we just don’t like with the beach is that it now has turned into a Global Warming area and it’s too cliché. Why not try going to a lake shore in a town somewhere in Northern America and perhaps, have a fishing vacation? Having a fishing vacation will still make you appreciate the glory of nature without you needing to wear dreadfully small pieces of clothing in the process (and of course, buying expensive high-SPF lotion!).
What if it’s not summer and the holiday is just some of our country’s “awkward” day-offs? Why not opt to go to visit a museum instead. Not only will doing so be “a new experience” but also educational. Who wouldn’t like that?
